About Us

Roger Barcant

Roger graduated in commerce at the University of Toronto and qualified in Canada as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. He then obtained a Master's degree from the London School of Economics. After some years University lecturing he founded the firm in 1980 and from this time has developed a range of expertise and experience both in the Private Client and Voluntary Sector areas where he advises clients on a wide range of professional and commercial issues. A past water polo international for Trinidad, he enjoys a wide variety of outside activities not least of which is following the performance of the West Indies’ cricket team through thick and thin and thereby failing 'The Tebbit Test.' . He made it to Athens for the 2004 Olympics and is keenly looking forward to 2012 in London. He is a member of the Personal Finance Society of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Mukesh Khatri

After reading economics at University, Mukesh qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987. After gaining further professional exposure in the audit and tax departments of KPMG and corporate experience at the BBC, he joined the firm in 1990 and now heads the firm’s audit, assurance and business consultancy service. As the father of two teenage children, he participates in a wide range of educational and cultural activities and is also a keen Arsenal supporter - unless they lose!!! He is a member of his local health club and is working towards running a marathon. He is a member of the Personal Finance Society of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Doug Beardon

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and obtaining post qualification experience in the tax department of Coopers and Lybrand, he spent some time lecturing in taxation at the University of East London. He has Master's degrees in European and Intellectual Property Law and Taxation and is an Associate of the Institute of Indirect Taxation. . In addition to his tax work in the practice, he lectures in tax subjects for a number of professional bodies and academic and commercial organisations. He is developing his personal interest and the firm's expertise in the taxation and financial implications of ageing.

Praful Gosai

Since graduating in accounting and computing, Praful has specialised in systems and computing and now leads the firm's IT service. He is accredited as a consultant by Sage, QuickBooks and MYOB. By combining his accounting and systems experience, his aim is to ensure that all the firm's clients have the systems and computer backup to achieve their business and personal objectives and understand how to use them effectively. So dedicated is he to developing his computer expertise that the firm has banned him from taking computer manuals on holiday with him!!

Ciaran McIntyre

Prior to returning to London in 1988, Ciaran worked with H M Revenue & Customs in Northern Ireland for 7 years. Having passed the ATT examination in 1991, he worked as Tax Manager in a Central London accountancy practice. He has been involved in Financial Services since 1993 and is a member of the Personal Finance Society of the Chartered Insurance Institute. His combination of experience on both sides of the fence gives him a unique insight into real world application of taxation.
